Archive Bank records only the archives, but does not function as a repository.
What archives and collections come into consideration for registration:
- The traditional private archives, in particular the archives of individuals, families and private-law associations, companies or organisations.
- The documentary collections and collections, such as collections of picture postcards or posters and photos, collections of local newspaper clippings or in memoriam cards.
You can submit a registration for each archive or collection. After notification, your data are processed into a file card and incorporated into the database. After your approval has been given, the public is allowed to consult the information.
