Via the Archive Decree, the Flemish Community entrusted the development and the day-to-day management of Archive Bank to four reception agencies:
ADVN,
Amsab-Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis,
KADOC-K.U.Leuven
and
Liberaal Archief.
For entering the data, Archive Bank works together with a wide range of
partners from the heritage sector.
The general, strategic leadership for the project is provided by the
General Meeting of the non-profit association vzw Archiefbank Vlaanderen,
composed of representatives from the four reception agencies and experts from the broader heritage sector. The
Board of Directors handles the administrative follow-up and interim feedback.
See the composition of the General Meeting and the Board of Directors.
The
Technical Working Group is responsible for coordinating and concretely implementing the project. The Archive Bank project staffers in particular
are responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the database, establishing and maintaining contacts with the partners, supervising the data entry,
giving training courses and handling public relations.
See the composition of the Technical Working Group.
The strategic and operational options are periodically reviewed by a broad
Advisory Council, to which the entire Flemish heritage sector and all partners of Archive Bank are invited.
See the reports of past Advisory Councils.
