Help with inputting - Inputting manual

At first sight, entering information into the Archiefbank Vlaanderen by yourself might appear complicated. The Help button in the input module gives a detailed explanation for the different fields. You can download a printable manual on inputting into the Archiefbank Vlaanderen here. The manual also contains an introduction to archive care in general.

Archiefbank attaches great importance to high-quality inputting. However, this does not imply that the archive descriptions have to be very extensive. The number of obligatory fields is limited. Only the identification data such as title, archive creator, size, dating, etc. must be filled in. The file cards also do not have to be completed immediately, they can easily be supplemented later.
